Pure merino is extraordinary, but it's not for everyone. Some skin types react to wool fiber, especially during warm, high-intensity sessions when pores are open. TENCEL™ lyocell - made from sustainably harvested wood pulp - wraps around the merino fibers and creates a silkier surface against your skin. The result: all of merino's natural performance with none of the prickle.
Why This Blend Works
We use non-superwash merino wool. Most brands treat their merino with chlorine-based superwash processes to make it machine-washable - stripping the fiber's natural lanolin layer and coating it in synthetic resin. We skip that. Our merino keeps its intact fiber structure, which means better temperature regulation, better moisture management, and nothing between your skin and the wool's natural properties.
TENCEL™ lyocell amplifies all of it - its smooth fiber structure moves moisture even faster than merino alone, dries quicker, and adds durability to the knit. Together, they outperform either fiber solo.
We add 5% spandex: the minimum needed for stretch and recovery in a legging that actually performs through movement. The remaining 95% is pure natural and plant-based fiber.
This is a 280gsm rib knit with serious stretch and recovery. Not flimsy. Not stiff. The kind of fabric that holds you through a HIIT class and still looks sharp at the coffee shop after.
No polyester. No nylon. No synthetic performance coatings. Just fibers that work because of what they are, not what's been sprayed on them.
